Where It All Started

Solid State Lighting International Pty Limited (“SSLI”) was founded by Ross Blakeway - Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ross has an entrepreneurial background in venture financing, commercial property, and as a management consultant, specializing in strategy, business development, change management, activity-based costing and streamlining operations. His entrepreneurial career was based on a firm foundation of experience developed in a variety of management roles, from retail, warehousing & logistics, food processing and fishing industries. He was specifically involved in the successful set up of greenfield projects in all of these industries and his passionate interest in environmental issues provided him with the inspiration to form SSLI. From this, South Africas premier architectural illumination specialists was born! Providing specialized lighting solutions is our mission.
